The stories behind the beautiful decorations at the Moriaanshoofd and the house Leeuwenburgh? What the reason is for the black roof tiles? What the stork in the service of the municipality performed for tasks? And where the man lived who taught America to drink good coffee? 

This, and much more, I will tell you during the approximately 1,5/2 hour private walk. I will show you the beautiful historic centre, take you into the courtyards and tell you the stories 'behind' the buildings and monuments of Alkmaar. I will take you to the hidden places in the city centre of Alkmaar that most tourists (and residents) don't know and tell you the stories that are not generally known. It will certainly not be a boring citywalk with only dry facts.
